We're excited to announce that DidactLabs is now an official partner of EdTech Station, Belgium's center of expertise in educational technology.
Who Is EdTech Station?
EdTech Station unites Belgian corporates, start-ups, researchers and professionals working in educational technology. From their base at Hangar K in Kortrijk, they run the community where Belgian EdTech innovation happens: meetups, expert talks, workshops, a testing programme with schools, and an incubator that coaches start-ups on everything from product-market fit to international growth.
In short: if you're building the future of education in Belgium, this is where you want to be. And as the network officially broadens toward AI tools in education, the timing couldn't be better.
Why This Matters to Us
We've said it before: the current approach to AI in classrooms — detection, restriction, suspicion — is broken. Changing that doesn't happen in isolation. It happens inside an ecosystem of educators, researchers and builders who are all pulling in the same direction.
Joining EdTech Station means three things for DidactLabs:
1. Closer to Schools EdTech Station's community and testing programme connect us directly with Flemish schools that want to lead on responsible AI adoption, not just react to it.
2. Closer to the Rules That Matter From data sovereignty to the compliance demands of Flemish education, EdTech Station helps its members navigate the requirements schools rightly care about. That fits how we build: privacy and trust first.
3. Closer to the People Building Alongside Us Exchanging experience with other Belgian EdTech founders, researchers and corporates makes our product better and the ecosystem stronger.
What's Next
We're kicking off this partnership at full speed. This semester, we're actively looking for schools to pilot DidactLabs starting in September 2026 — showing teachers the entire writing process instead of trying to detect AI use, with an AI assistant that follows the school's own policy.
You'll also find us at EdTech Station's upcoming events, and in their newsletter alongside the rest of the Belgian EdTech community.
Is your school ready to put its AI charter into everyday practice? We'd love to show you what transparency-first AI looks like in the classroom.
